Theory in PracticeAFuels, LLC is a Missouri-based technology company that provides a unique opportunity for investors capable of impacting fuel and energy production worldwide. This unique acetylene-based dual-fuel technology has been successfully applied to gasoline and diesel engines ranging in size up to 275 hp. By utilizing readily available retrofitting components, AFuels has successfully demonstrated the ease in which this technology can be applied to the internal combustion engine regardless of size or function. Currently, this new technology is intended primarily for use as a power source for distributive power generation. Additionally, AFuels, LLC is investigating other applications such as a clean fuel for heavy machinery within highly populated regions of the United States, and as a fuel source to be utilized within the parameters of a hybrid vehicle. Specifically, AFuels has successfully retrofitted a 9-hp diesel engine, an 8-hp gasoline engine, a 3500-pound Toyota forklift, a 2000 Saturn automobile with a 1.9-liter engine, a 275-hp GM "Vortec" engine, an 50-year-old 100-hp Allis-Chalmers diesel engine, a two-seat, 23-hp hybrid test vehicle and an 11-hp floor polisher for indoor applications. AFuels expects the commercialization of its dual-fuel technology during the coming year, pending certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. |
